Waiting

This time will speed along,
Soon I will be where I belong.
Waiting for the smile of a thousand miles,
As I count all the ceiling tiles,
Ready for the day we can be together,
And no I won't say it'll be forever.

I'll show you all my memories while we wait,
Lets leave this all down to fate.
We can race away along the beach,
Grasping everything within reach,
Waiting for the stars to fall from the sky,
As it gets harder to say goodbye.

For we live for the time we spend,
Only on you I will depend,
To help me through the unknown,
These feelings must be postponed.
The past must first be knocked aside,
Before I have to run and hide.

Maybe the time of happiness will hurry,
Because this will cause us to worry.
The future may be full and well,
But until that day life could be hell,
So we'll nod and smile like we do,
All the time I shall think of you.

Take me away to where ever you choose,
This is something you can't refuse.
Travel to places far and wide,
Lets see what exactly we can find,
Oysters pearls from the oceans bed,
Listening to what 'they' have said.

In the end everyone lives for today,
Hoping no one will go away,
No one needs to loose who they're falling for,
Because these feelings you can't ignore.
So hold your hands up to the stars,
