Take Me Away

Take me away to a golden land,
Layered with the softest sand,
We can happily play within the sea,
It'll be just you and me.

Take me away with the wind,
God shall forgive us if we've sinned,
Do not be scared to smile out loud,
We shall see what we have found.

Take me away hand in hand,
We can travel all through the land,
No one to hurt or deffend,
We have no reason to pretend.

Take me away to a secret place,
Lets leave, quick without a trace,
Leave the past behind,
Give yourself time to unwind.

Take me away to where I belong,
Where we can grow mentally strong,
Only because you're by my side,
I never want us to divide.

Take me away from this town,
Before these people pull us down,
Without them everything would be fine,
I refuse to see this as a sign.

Take me away to where we can be,
Where you go down on one knee,
Tears down my face create their paths,
Because it all adds up to simple maths.
