Crumbling Heart

When your world is falling apart,
And you can't remember the start,
That's when you begin to see,
How strong you can really be.

No one can hold you back,
A whole heart is all you lack,
They crumble your heart to dust,
Leaving what's left to rust.

Green grass swallows us whole,
While we dream about our real goal,
To see the world's secrets through our eyes,
To feel so free and wise.

The hills obstruct our direct paths,
Life isn't one answer like maths.
You search and follow what is for you,
And hope that person finds you too.

At the end we find our heart is strong,
All those people were so wrong,
They failed to knock you off the path,
They failed to see the world's wrath...
