Travelling

We travel often but not far,
Watching one twinkling star,
Its shine should guide us away,
Maybe even find somewhere to stay.

We travel the roads of where we grow old,
Living our lives as we've been told,
So we are just like the first people here,
Making freedom and also fear.

Hold up this flag we own and love,
We need no war but peace and a dove,
To explain what words cannot show,
Yet nobody really can know.

How can we travel to learn,
If all we have is anger that will burn?
The stars above do shine so bright,
And we ignore them almost ever night.

Stop traveling to beauty afar,
Look into the sky and watch a star,
Beauty is everywhere if you look,
It doesn't just exist in a book.

Theres no need to travel to see it,
Everyone owns there little bit,
Beauty is within yourself every day,
And your beauty is here to stay.
