Circles Of Time

Circles turn the hands,
People run across the lands,
But everything comes with its own pain,
Some to loose and some to gain,
Loosing time maybe one,
It was there a second but then gone...

The seed grows higher than you know,
Before it dies and begins to bow,
The life I had has gone wrong,
I stand far back and stop my tongue.
You may be right,
But will you win the fight?
I will carry on into the night...

In my dreams you follow me,
Down the valley under the tree,
The tree of sorrow whispers in my ear,
'Not even I can stop your tiny tear,
I'll watch you grow up tall,
I'll watch you snap and fall...'

The circles turn round and round,
They never quite reach the ground,
People stop to stand and stare,
But none of them are aware,
Of the pain that hides under this skin,
Surely it will not beat me and win,
Sleeping pricks her finger on her pin...

The sun awakens from the deep,
It's not time to run, it's time to leap,
Run away from forgotten time,
Then everything will be just fine,
Don't fall like a broken tree,
Spread your wings and just be free...
