I always stand all alone,
Even when I'm not on my own.
I hide away my thoughts and feelings,
Scared that someone may really see me.
I keep a smile stuck on my face,
I still can't sit still in my place...
Surrounded by all my friends,
Sticking with their latest trends,
Friends may see behind your lies,
But no one sees into my eyes.
Showing the slightest bit of emotion,
Could cause a big commotion.
I try to forget the saddening past,
Unfortunately it won't go fast...
Time won't pass at normal speed,
It only lets my heart skip a beat,
The broken heart in my chest,
Will not heal as I rest...
