Bed

My head hits its place of rest,
Putting my mind to the test,
Sleep may overcome my mind,
Yet worry is all I can find.

Butterflies flying in a red sky,
While memories make us cry,
So we wish away the next day,
Praying it will all be okay.

Walking on water without care,
Having nothing to share,
What's mine is yours should be said,
Instead of crying in bed.

Up again to face the day,
The sun is shining this way,
Beautiful summer of hiding away,
Finding anything not to say.

Don't come looking in my dreams,
Pick my sheets apart at the seams,
Leave my thoughts buried deep,
And leave me here to sleep.

Stay Inside (There's No Jobs)

Butterflies wings will beat as they fly,
Fluffy clouds will move in the sky.
Rain will fall without warning,
Night will turn to morning.
Televisions shout of repetition,
In this new age tradition,
Sat in our chairs day after day,
Hiding inside to escape a single ray.
Games are addictive to our minds,
curtains still drawn and so are the blinds.
Where are the ball games we oh so love?
Where are the sun rays from above?
Walks in the park are hard to find,
Daddy's at work and mummy's declined.
There's not enough money to keep us afloat,
She's off to work with a catch in her throat.
No job to go to but CVs to hand out,
This is our everlasting drought.
No pennies to spend on a loaf of bread,
No words to say which are unsaid.
This will not get better as time goes on,
Turning from little to none.
Time may stop but food is no where,
The shops are full but the table is bare.

Void

Emptiness within a solid shell,
Is it heaven or is it hell?
Blackness central to the focus,
Stuck in the form of locus.
Trapped or cut off from light,
silenced to the setting of night.
No sound made to be heard,
A ear to hear would be obsurd.
Away from humanity,
No sign of technology,
Is this the end of what we should love?
Where is the colour of a dove?
We'll keep on looking through the black,
Wishing the we could go back.
It's too late to refind our feet,
or sit down in our seat.
Take the last bow of the night,
Enjoy your last word and sight.

Fashion and love

They admit their love,
The heavens open above,
Crying saddening tears,
Watching the worlds worst fears.

They try to learn the news,
They're too scared to lose,
What they never wanted at first,
This has come to its worst.

True love doesn't fade away,
It stays every day,
Fighting for tomorrows right,
To awaken from the night.

Don't shake your head is disbelief,
Find yourself some quick relief,
To calm the sadness from truths too pure,
And stop yourself from asking for more.

The gardens grow in a orderly fashion,
Lacking any kind of passion,
True love lies within the wild,
Lush, true and not so mild.

Throw away your worries for tonight,
Realise this is your right,
To run so free with your passion,
And not obey to this worlds fashion.

Crumbling Heart

When your world is falling apart,
And you can't remember the start,
That's when you begin to see,
How strong you can really be.

No one can hold you back,
A whole heart is all you lack,
They crumble your heart to dust,
Leaving what's left to rust.

Green grass swallows us whole,
While we dream about our real goal,
To see the world's secrets through our eyes,
To feel so free and wise.

The hills obstruct our direct paths,
Life isn't one answer like maths.
You search and follow what is for you,
And hope that person finds you too.

At the end we find our heart is strong,
All those people were so wrong,
They failed to knock you off the path,
They failed to see the world's wrath...

Butterflies and Birds

Tears drop like rain from the sky,
We make a wish and let it fly,
Away with the butterflies and birds,
Goes each of the many words.

Hope for tomorrow to bring more,
We've seen this all happen before,
Tears spilt then emotions abused,
Old quotes continuously reused.

The only reason this has begun,
Is not because we find it fun,
But due to our wishes not being found,
Lost in a world where there is no sound.

So when the butterflies and birds fly by,
Shout your wishes to the sky,
They'll carry them up to the heaven above,
To help you understand the meaning of love.

Kittens and lions

I dreamt a dream last night,
Where the stars begin to fight,
And peace became anger and fury,
It was the beginning of this story.

We kill like it is a game,
Prance around in fame,
Like kittens and lions on the prowl,
As they bite, fight and growl.

We are just the same as the cats,
Playing with the unlucky rats,
Dodging through the trees,
Listening to the bumble bees.

The kittens play with balls of string,
The lions call out their growls and sing,
Sing for protection, love and the ground,
To help them find what has not been found.

Struggling through every day,
Finding another place to stay,
Where the world keeps us under its wings,
And we hide from unknown things.

The kittens and lions are here to play,
We should help them to stay,
To live alongside their call,
And watch mankind fall.
